1. Bergisch mal Drei
  2. On the move
  3. THROUGH THE BERGISCHES LAND IN VERY SPECIAL WAYS

Explore the Bergisches Land your way

The ways of discovering the Bergisch tri-city area are as diverse as the region itself. It’s ideal for road trips by motorbike or by car. It’s also easy to get around RemscheidSolingen and Wuppertal by bus and train.

An outing over mountains and through valleys

It’s not just bikers’ hearts that beat faster on the endless mountain and valley routes. The Müngsten Bridge park with the Müngsten Bridge is a must-see for all visitors. Germany’s highest railway bridge is also an impressive sight from below on a canoe trip along the Wupper river.

Great views from up high and down low

Schloss Burg is no less impressive. It towers majestically high above the Wupper river. Equally impressive is a ride through Wuppertal in the historic Kaiser’s carriage on the suspension railway. A journey through time in the old town of Lennep on the tracks on the clothmakers is best taken on foot.

Tip: Take a break at one of the region’s many eating destinations and enjoy some Bergisch hospitality in the form of a Bergische Kaffeetafel (coffee and snacks).
