Relaxed and sporty cycling – both are possible in the Bergisches Land. You can discover the Bergisch Three from the saddle along cycle trails.
Enjoy cycling along former railway lines around and through the cities of Remscheid, Solingen and Wuppertal. Unusual views are guaranteed. On the Nordbahntrasse, you have a fantastic view of Wuppertal. Sambatrasse promises wild insights. Or would you prefer not to push the pedals yourself? Then take a velo-taxi!
Many of the railway lines are part of the Panorama-Radweg (Panorama Cycle Trail). You cycle through Bergisch landscapes without getting out of breath: the routes are almost entirely flat. Along the way: far-reaching views of the natural surroundings, idyllic countryside and quirky town life. On the Niederbergbahn Panorama-Radweg (Niederbergbahn Panorama Cycle Trail), you ride over the first carriage bridge in Germany. The Bergische Panorama-Radweg (Bergisch Panorama Cycle Trail) lends itself to regular stops, for example at Müngsten Bridge and Schloss Burg. Travel a bit of the way by suspension railway or simply take the Bergische FahrradBus (Bergisch bicycle bus) on weekends during the Bergisch cycling season.
