You will be amazed. Müngsten bridge is an imposing sight. Especially when you come to the base of the structure. This can be done at Brückenpark Müngsten. From here, you can experience the technological wonder from its best side.
Germany’s highest railway bridge has spanned the valley of the Wupper for more than 100 years. But it doesn’t appear to be that massive. More delicate and gently floating. Just below it: Brückenpark Müngsten. A quiet and yet lively spot in the heart of dense forests and protected natural surroundings.
Sit down on the expansive grass meadows. Enjoy your picnic under shady trees. Or take a break at Müngsten House, where the vast glass façades reflect the bridge wonderfully.
Or do you prefer to be a little more active? Then head off on the play and movement trail. Curvy slides, climbing nets and sky ladders are not just there for the younger visitors. And solve the Müngsten puzzle. Questions and answers are scattered around the park on stone plates.
A further highlight at the Brückenpark: glide across to the other bank on two cables. This can be done in minutes with the unique transporter bridge – but only by muscle power. Try it out!
